Bob and I would be right there with you but we just adopted a dog who just underwent treatment for heartworms. We're feeling like we need to lay low with him tomorrow. Ya'll have a good time! We did win the bid on some ski passes to Snowbird at the Common Ground fundraiser. I heard it's a great place to ski. I'm a beginner and looking forward to working on my skills this winter. Chow for now;)
Hugs!

Subject: [downhill] Ski Snowbird on Sunday
(Mailing list information, including unsubscription instructions, is located at the end of this message.)It looks like a total powder day Sunday at Snowbird! They had storms this week and more Saturday night and all day Sunday. They have 3 lifts open that each access diff levels of terrain (green, blue, black), but it does look like the green terrain might only be accessible through blue slopes, so if this is your first time out ever, you might want to wait for more green to be open.
We'll meet at 7am Sunday morning at the Ranger Station to organize car trips down there. We will only wait 10 minutes, and only will wait if there are people who RSVP who are not there. It looks like a 2 hour car ride.
We are going to try to get snow tires put on our car tomorrow, otherwise we might be putting on chains if we hit snow on the road. That likely won't be until we get really close to the resort if at all.
If you are interested in coming, please let us know. Also let us know if you are able to drive.
If anyone knows where to get discount Snowbird tickets let us know, otherwise it is $62 for a lift ticket on Sunday.
See you Sunday!
