I'm not a big opera fan so I'll probably skip the July girls night out.- Jennifer StrangeOn Mon, Jun 23, 2008 at 2:46 PM, Steve Cracroft <stevechristine2005@yahoo.com> wrote:

Hello Ladies:
Robbie has asked me to host the July Girls Night Out event. I know that in the past some ladies have shown interest in attending a production of the Utah Festival Opera Company. (http://www.ufoc.org/) Considering performances only run through the first week in August, July seems to be the month to do it.
It seems that I am planning this a bit late for such a popular event, and I have two main concerns. I would like for us to be able to sit together without having to put all of the tickets on my credit card. I have spoken with someone in the box office, and they are willing to go out of their way to help our group, but they need to hear back from us ASAP.
What I need to know is how many of you are interested in attending the Thursday July 31 showing of Aida at 7:30pm. If we have a large enough group, the box office is willing to set aside a block of seats for us. They will only hold the tickets until the end of this week, however. After that time you may still buy tickets if they are not sold out, you just may not be able to sit with the group.
This particular performance is almost sold out and the tickets that are available are either $12 or $23. This means the seats will probably be in the upper balcony. If you would like to attend, please let me know your price preference so I may select one and coordinate with the box office. I will get back to the group with details for purchasing the tickets at a later time. Please do not contact the box office yet.
I apologize for the short notice, but I need to hear back from you by tomorrow at noon. If I do not get enough responses from people who will be attending, I will just plan another event.
Thanks.
Christine
