Common Ground Outdoor Adventures has been providing outdoor recreation
for people with disabilities from Ogden to Preston - and right here at
home in Logan - for 15 years. And once again, with the help of local
artist Jerry Fuhriman and Square One Printing, we are offering six
different cards with beautiful Cache Valley scenes, as well as a card
featuring Jerry Fuhriman's famous Coyotes!

You're going to send holiday cards this year, right? Or at least thank
you notes!
Why not send cards that benefit a local organization?
Send a card that helps someone go whitewater rafting on the Snake River!
Send a card that helps someone go skiing in the Bear Mountains!

signed up. (Store hours are Thurs/Fri 12-6, Sat 10-6).

And if you haven't been in our store, please stop by. Everything comes
from people, not factories and all the artisans earn a living wage (which
means they can support a family of 4 with food, housing, clothing,
education, health/medical - in their country). We have a great variety
of merchandise - something for everyone.

Service Opportunities in the Community and Workplace

The University Inn & Conference Center hosts a monthly Seminar Series.
On November 12, 2008 the seminar features a panel of local community
groups who will discuss different ways we can volunteer our time to make
the community a better place. Please encourage your co-workers and staff
to join us for this Valuable opportunity.

The seminars are free and open to the public. They have had some tremendous
speakers at previous seminars including such topics as leadership, healthy living,
and team building.

I've been put in charge of getting Global Village Gifts all
Christmas-fied. That means moving all the fixtures around, unpacking all

AVA Hallowen Party Friday night

Come spend some time eating and dancing under the trees and stars while supporting the arts in Cache Valley at the annual Halloween party presented by The Alliance for the Varied Arts. There will be food, drink, music, art and fun!

Come and party with the magical creatures in the Enchanted Forest and support a good cause at the same time. There will be music provided all night by The Rain Dogs, a local band. Dress up in a fabulous costume and win the amazing grand prize or an awesome runner up prize! A silent auction will be held to raise funds to help promote the arts to the community and offer art classes to all ages.
