My two cents, I am new to the group but I assume you are all beer lovers so I would love your input. I have an IPA that I bottled last Sunday and is just starting to be good. I'll bring a few to share and get your opinion, if you don't mind? It's my first all-grain attempt and it seems to have come out pretty good.

Looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday.

Here are a few: You know that you created a great tasting ale, It seems to tastes better when you make it, when you share it with friends they are amazed that you could make beer, then they are further amazed that it tastes great, not to mention that it is cheaper than store bought beer.

Announcing our first Logan Newcomers Club beer brewing session for 2008.

When: Saturday, 2 August, 9:00AM SHARP!!!

Where: My place � 510 Spring Creek Road, Providence
                                    Phone: 435-512-7272

What: We�ll be brewing a Pale Ale

What to bring: Lunch & Drinks

Cost: $15 per person

Why: Because this is Utah and you can�t find good beer anywhere!

This session is limited to 4 people   So RSVP ASAP!

Everyone will go away with approximately two 12 packs (will vary based on the size of the bottles being used). The bottling process doesn�t occur until 3 weeks after this session. I�ll send a follow-up email to schedule the bottling but it will be approximately around 23 August.

The time between steps is hard to describe. You have a mash time of 2 hours, but you stir every 20 minutes or so. Then the sparge is slow and we stand around and talk while adding water to the mash periodically. The boil is 1 hour, but you have to watch it for a little while and check on it occasionally so it doesn�t boil over. There is cleaning during the boil as well and then the slow draining from the boil is about 2 hours and again you have to change buckets after 45 minutes. There is plenty of time to ensure Steven is doing well, but playing a game would be difficult.

As for Snook, he will undoubtedly go under the porch and watch the world go by in the canyon.
