<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am a member of the "New To Logan" group.  My
family moved up here a few months ago from Phoenix,
AZ.  Since arriving in Logan, I have become very involved with
the Cub Scouts (Pack #1) and Boy Scouts (Troop #1). I have a 10 year
old son in Cub Scouts and a 12 year old son in Boy Scouts.  Both
our pack & troop are</FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2> sponsored by
the Logan Lions Club and are Non-denominational.  All faiths are
welcome.  In addition, while our meetings are held in various locations in
Logan, we are open to all boys that reside within Cache County.  We have
families as far south as Paradise and families as far north as Smithfield! 
And our boys attend a multitude of schools: public schools, charter
schools, & some are homeschooled.  </FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Here is a breakdown of the ages:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Tigers = Grade 1</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Wolves = Grade 2</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Bears = Grade 3</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Webelos = Grade 4 & Grade 5</FONT></DIV>
<DIV>Boy Scouts = 11 years old and/or have completed Grade
5</DIV>
<DIV>Venture Scouts = 14-18 yrs old (open to both boys & girls)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Some of the fun activities we do
include:  </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>Bike riding, camping, craft
& science projects, field trips, fishing, games, hiking, launching rockets,
nature study, Pinewood Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, Scout-a-rama, songs, skits,
sports, star gazing, swimming, and making new friends!!!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Troop #1 has a long history in the Logan area and
is actually "the oldest troop west of the Mississippi".  The troop has
recently decided to charter a "Venture Scout Program", that will welcome both
teenage girls AND boys.  This group will be focused on "outdoor
adventure".  Lots of hiking, camping, etc.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Since many people in the area don't even know
we exist... I am just trying to get the word.  So if you (or
anyone you know) wants to be involved in Scouting program but did not
know that a non-denominational option was available, </FONT>please contact

Friday Night - Native American Pow Wow

<h1>35th Annual Native American Pow Wow</h1>
<div id="datetime"> Friday, Feb 29 - 7:00PM to 10:00PM </div>
<p>Join
us in celebrating USU's 35th Annual Native American Pow Wow! Native
American Dancers and Drummers from around the Western United States and
Canada will perform traditional dances. Grand Entry will begin at 7:00
pm, admissions will open at 6:00 pm. General Admission $3, Seniors
& Student w/ID $2, <b>Kids 7-under FREE</b>. There will be a
concession
stand selling, Navajo Tacos, Fry Bread and more. If you have questions
